Cory Pesaturo is an American musician from Rhode Island and is one of the leading accordion players in the world today. He began playing at the age of 9 and has since, most notably, become the youngest person to ever win the National Accordion Championship in 2002. After his competition days, he was accepted on the accordion at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA where he studied Contemporary Improvisation and a multitude of music varying from Italian and French, Bulgarian and Jewish, to Classical and Jazz.

Pesaturo has also been called “The Fastest Instrumentalist since Art Tatum” on various occasions for his lightning fast technical ability, in which he says he never practices for, such as musical arpeggios and scales. He also performes live playing piano, clarinet and saxophone on the side. Pesaturo’s career has taken him to a range of venues ranging from sitting in for an ill Myron Floren of the Lawrence Welk show at age 12, to performing at the White House on four different occasions, to specifically playing for President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton at a total of nine events. On one of his White House visits, he became the youngest person to ever perform at a State Dinner, which at this event in 1999 was for the President of Hungary. A short article on this is in Hillary Clinton's book, An Invitation to the White House.

Recently at the 2007 Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships, hew as hailed as the best young jazz accordion player in the world. Furthermore, Pesaturo has been called "A dangerously good talent" with his electric Roland accordion, as he can be an entire jazz ensemble at the same time; drums behind, comping with left hand chords, walking bass lines and playing solos with various instruments on his right hand - all simoultaniously. Roland has since put Cory on their elite accordion team of 4 american accordionists which hopes to bring back the accordion to it's former fame. Pesaturo has also performed with different symphony orchestra's around the country, first being the Brockton Symphony Orchestra in 2003, where he became the youngest accordionist ever to be the soloist with a symphony.

Other than his musical career, Pesaturo has been highly successful in the world of weather and statistics overall, this being without any training in these areas of any sort. He is known to many as “The Snowman” for his meteorological work. At 18, his interest in winter weather became more serious when he began researching historical winter weather statistics, and created a theory about changes in Southern New England’s winters (he continues to update this on a yearly basis) and it’s possible relation to Global Warming. In late September of 2005, he became interested in tropical weather, and began to compile a list of records set by the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Season. By November he became serious with the list, and it soon became noted around the country, being used by Universities, professional meteorologists, The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, the National Weather Service, the National Weather Association, and most notably the National Hurricane Center.

Pesaturo's interest in winter weather goes further than his statistical analysis of it, and has one of the only known Professional Sledding/Freesledding mountains in the world named “CN Mountain”, which is located in his home town. Furthermore, he is a motor sports analyst and historian, and is currently working on a major Formula 1 statistics project that could change the way people look at the history of Formula 1 and it's champions.
