Corral Ridge or Corral Hollow Hill is a mountain located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range of California. Located east of the Salt Springs Reservoir and south of the North Fork Mokelumne River river canyon, the mountain stands nearly 4,000 ft (1,200 m) above the floor of the canyon.[1] The mountain rises to an elevation of 8,170 ft (2,490 m), near the Calaveras-Alpine county border.[1] The mountain's summit is also the highpoint of Calaveras County.[1] Due to the high elevation of the mountain, much of the precipitation that it receives is snow.[2]
