Corrado Barazzutti

Corrado Barazzutti (born February 19, 1953, in Udine) is an Italian former tennis player. He gained a fame in 1971 winning the Orange Bowl. The previous year he had been called to the Italy Davis Cup team, for which he would play a total of 44 matches. In 1976 he participated to the first and only victory of a Davis Cup by his country.

In Grand Slam tournaments, his best results are the semi-finals he reached in 1977 at the US Open and in 1978 at the French Open; in both occasions he was beaten in straight sets, by Jimmy Connors and Björn Borg respectively. He was the Italian champion from 1976 to 1981 and won five ATP tournaments.

Barazzutti is currently non-playing captain of the Italy Davis Cup team.
