      • Same problem for all 4: the owner of these images according to the website(s) listed is John Biggar, and the uploader is User:2005biggar (Talk | contribs). Seems likely that these are indeed his own photos, however he's using them on his website as copyrighted. In conjunction with this he has uploaded them to Wikipedia under various licenses (mostly GFDL), when I'm fairly sure this isn't what he wants to do - especially when he still makes claim to the copyright on the image description page, and only mentions "[being] happy for it to appear on Wikipedia". Note left on user's talk page, but he's been inactive for 3 months so I expect it will be futile. Unsure what the protocol is here, any help with this would be great.         • I don't think this is a problem. The user explicitly releases 2 into the public domain, and releases 2 under the GFDL. None of his statements contradict his licensing choices. (He can release into the public domain and be happy for it to appear on Wikipedia, for instance, and all images under the GFDL are copyrighted.) I think we can take his licensing choices at face value. If he had made statements that contradicted the licenses he chose, that would be different, however.
