A-10 Thunderbolt II (history · last edit) from [ [5]].It's not a total copy, but large chunks throughout the article look like they were lifted verbatim. It's possible the aviationfans.com page is a copy from an earlier version of our article, but they don't say it came from Wikipedia, and in fact assert copyright. So, I figured it was safer to just delete it until somebody could sort out what's what. - The external site also contains copyvios of other old versions of Wikipedia articles - check the HAL Tejas for example. If you review the A-10 edit history through late 2005, you can see the lead paragraph slowly take shape to the point where it reaches the form that aviationfans.com copied. Please do a little basic checking before simply deleting an article with an edit history stretching over 5 years and 1,000 edits. Or at the very least, follow Copyright problem procedure and let others do the checking for you. Anyway, no real harm done. --Rlandmann 22:07, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
