According to my understanding of Copyright status of work by the U.S. government, patents are not works of the U.S. government and therefore are not in the public domain. --Zvika 08:36, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

  • Image:Laughing Man.png ([4]_Laughing_Man claims GDFL on this image - howver, it's a screenshot from "Ghost in the Shell". No permission exists from the parent company for this image. KoshVorlon 12:18, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
