[edit] License discussion POV?

To Rehcsif: what part of the previous revision of this section was not factual, except that the Coppermine people changed the word "stupid" to "idiotic" in their FAQ? —Fleminra 20:12, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

-Pl. keep this article. It contains enough factual info. Pratheepps (talk)

[edit] Coppermine Logo

If someone could get the Coppermine Logo uploaded and linked back into the info box I'd appreciate it. My attempt was deleted for some reason I don't understand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nibbler999 (talkcontribs) 22:22, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi Nibbler, I recognize you from the CPG forums. Is the CPG logo copyrighted, or is it licensed under GNU like the rest of coppermine? If it's not copyrighted it will be very easy to upload and attach a logo under the free license. If not, we can still do it using the standard 'logo' fair use rationale. Let me know and I can make it happen. I'm a very satisfied CPG user (as well as Wikipedia editor) and happy to help. --Rehcsif (talk) 18:27, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Advertising..or maybe not? :D

So, products only can be advertised here if they are already popular, this page even takes the chance to advertise the competitors, well done hehe... :D —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.54.133.218 (talk) 16:11, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, but I've evidently missed your point. Care to explain? --Rehcsif (talk) 18:27, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] License Add-On

Is it realy necessary to keep the "powered by..."-footer intact? I read something here that it is allowed to change it. Körnerbrötchen (talk) 13:38, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

1.4.x licensing requires it. 1.5.x, which isn't officially released yet, evidently does not. Once 1.5.x becomes the 'stable' version the article should be changed. --Rehcsif (talk) 14:06, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
