[edit] Merge
I suggest that Swanky beer be merged into Copper Coast Wines as the notability guideline Wikipedia:Notability_(organizations_and_companies)#Recommendations_for_products_and_services suggests. Despite heavy research little has been turned up for Swanky beer, other than as a Cornish name for home-brewed beer, and as the name for a beer commercially brewed for a Cornish festival in Australia. It was proposed for merging or deleting Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Swanky beer on 12 August 2007 with the decision to keep. Given the article's recent editing history, it appears unstable as a stand alone article. As Wiki's own guidelines suggest that a product such as Swanky beer be discussed within the parent organisation, and there is a degree of instability and uncertainty and disagreement regarding the standalone article, would there be any objection to a merge? - Support based on inadequate reliable sources in Swanky beer. -- But|seriously|folks 12:12, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Oppose
1. Swanky beer is a distinct product which traditionally has been produced in Cornwall for centuries. It is not a distinct product of Copper Coast Wines, and merger of the articles Copper Coast Wines and Swanky beer in the manner proposed would create a false impression. - The name "swanky beer" appears to be a Cornish word for either homebrewed beer or weak beer. As such it is not an entity that can be discussed within Wiki. The additional definition can be added to the Wiktionary entry for Swanky, but it's really not appropriate as a stand alone article for an encyclopedia. The other "Swanky beer" is a brand name made by Copper Coast Wines - and that is really what we are discussing. It is possible then, within the section on Swanky beer in the Copper Coast Wines, to have some information on the use of the word, and a bit on the history of the name. That would be appropriate. All the information you want would be on Wiki, but in the most appropriate place. You currently want to assert, without evidence, a higher status for this Swanky than is appropriate.
