The image was originally made by Apple for their Copland promotional materials. This operating system development was later cancelled, famously. The image is small (web size) and has no commmercial value, and I therefore believe that fair use rules apply.

This image is used in Appearance Manager to illustrate the appearance (no pun intended) of the Mac OS interface in development versions of Copland. As the operating system was never released, no free alternative is available or can be created. Zetawoof_(ζ) 06:59, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
