Category talk:Copy to Wiktionary

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have created this new category to better fit with the renaming of the Move to Wiktionary template to Copy to Wiktionary. The text of the category was taken from Category:Move to Wiktionary. See Template_talk:Copy_to_Wiktionary for the reasons for this. --Xyzzyplugh 01:02, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What to do once transwiki is done

Once a transwiki process is completed, should the articles be 'prod' tagged, deleted speedily or sent to AfD ... in general? --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 20:07, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Speedy deletion is not appropriate unless the article has already been through AfD, resulting in a consensus to transwiki (see WP:CSD A5). I would personally favor proposed deletion as a first resort, since most of these are unlikely to be controversial and there's no reason to put things on AfD unless there is a likelihood of controversy. -- Visviva 16:03, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
