Am I missing something or can I just not read the reference here. Luke 8:5 states, "A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it." It does not say, "Except you do penance you shall all likewise perish". Also, the Christian faith has very little to do with the Old Testament law in Ezekiel as described clearly in Romans. The concept of Contrition should therefore be limited to the Jewish faith. Jcolino3 (talk) 16:21, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
