[edit] Stockton expansion team
Who deleted this information from the possible expansion section? I believe Stockton is still trying to get a basketball franchise of some sort. --Mrskippy 21:13, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, the folks in Stockton Cal. will root for a minor league basketball team in the ABA for 2007. The Big Valley Shockwave hosts their home games in Turlock, south of Modesto, while they await a sports arena that fits the ABA standards. Read the Wikipedia article and tell me what you think. 207.200.116.9 22:57, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- * Why wouldn't they have just started with Stockton Arena to begin with? Stockton should try for this team, a CBA team, or better still and NBA D-League team.
[edit] Expansion
Does anyone have any sources on the planned expansion teams? I can find no mention anywhere of the expansion teams in Hawaii, Bend, Seattle, Spokane or Lethbridge.Mlmichelson 01:21, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I cannot. Expansion and Inactive teams definitely needs cleared out, most of these have no citations.(ABAsite 18:33, 8 July 2007 (UTC))
- Several franchises are not part of current CBA expansion plans (Hawaii, Kansas Cagerz, Miami Majesty, etc.] and have been removed from the Wikipedia CBA expansion list page.Chuck the writer 12:09, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I initially added the Cagerz because of a local article discussing that possibility. That said, given that the current team roster seems settled, that is doubtful. Do the other cities fit in? Kent, WA? West Orange, NJ? (ABAsite 22:00, 23 July 2007 (UTC)) Seems like a lot of wishful thinking to me.
Isn't Eastern Kentucky the Miami team?76.197.243.21 21:21, 26 July 2007 (UTC)BigBoi29
- Essentially. (ABAsite 23:17, 2 August 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:EKM large.jpg
Image:EKM large.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
