Having made a start on the South African wine article, the history of SA wine is so tied up with the history of Constantia that there's a lot of potential duplication there. I can see how this article could be expanded, so I don't think it's a no-brainer merger, but it might be worth thinking about how this article interacts with the South African wine one. I've moved the trivia and copied the history sections from the SA wine article into this one. Thinking about it, it might be better to try and coalesce the Groot and Klein Constantia articles into this one perhaps? And to an international audience Constantia = the wine, so I'd be tempted to move this article to Constantia, and the town to Constantia (town) or whatever. I've not definite views on this, be interesting to hear some SA perspectives. FlagSteward 02:29, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
There's an article on Constantia as a suburb of Cape Town already. I don't feel I can comment on it's quality or content, but it seems the relevant place for what you would call "Constantia (town)". Warrickball (talk) 09:22, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
