"Let the utility function be a strictly convex function"? what kind of a fair service is to be provided by a strictly convex benefit function, I think the author meant "strictly concave" and not strictly convex, because maximizing the sum using a convex function will correspond to a "max-max unfair allocation", rather than the existing "max-min fair allocation" :D. If I was right then this should be corrected soon because it's very misleading.
