[edit] Relationships
I removed the following comment which was anonymously added by User:210.50.202.83:
- For several years in the '90s she was involved in a relationship with Gigi Fernandez and Louise Pleming
Just one relationship, three tennis pros? Sounds hot, but I don't see any sources for this. Sounds like somebody's fantasy, or gossip, and possibly slander.
If there are sources which corroborate this story, perhaps it could be added as follows:
- For several years in the 1990s she was alleged to be involved in relationships with Gigi Fernandez and Louise Pleming.

LESBIAN? I´M spanish and she never said in spain nothig.
I have read plenty of articles that matter of factly state that she had a relationship with Gigi Fernandez. But in saying that I have never actually heard Conchita herself saying it, although I haven't done any in depth research!
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Conchita-Martinez-of-Spain-36-480.jpg
Image:Conchita-Martinez-of-Spain-36-480.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:51, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Requested move
The name of this article should be changed to "Conchita Martinez" because that is the name used on the English-language websites of the official governing bodies of tennis, which are the Women's Tennis Association and the International Tennis Federation. That also is the name used on the English-language websites of the Olympics, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and Fed Cup. Finally, that is the name used on the English-language website of the only Grand Slam singles tournament she won, Wimbledon. Tennis expert (talk) 04:58, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
