[edit] Summary

Conowingo Dam, looking North, 16 October 1996

What you're looking at (from left to right):

  • The 1928 enclosed powerhouse
  • The four 1978 turbines under scaffolding
  • The new swim out fish lift
  • The 53 flood gates, with two of their lifting white cranes visible on top of the dam.

The original tank truck fish lift is behind the tree, to the left of the power house.

Camera used was a Kodak DC-50.
