Connie Mitchell

Connie Mitchell (a.k.a. "Miss Connie") is an Australian pop singer and the lead vocalist with the Sydney band Sneaky Sound System. She appears on the latter's singles "Pictures", "I Love It ", "UFO" and Goodbye. She was previously the lead vocalist of another Sydney band, Primary.

Mitchell also shares songwriting credits with Angus McDonald on "Pictures". In the recent International Songwriting Competition, the song came second in the Dance/Electronica category.[1] Mitchell spent a couple of weeks in early 2007 recording vocals for Kanye West in Los Angeles.[2] She features on seven tracks on Kanye West's newest album, Graduation, including the singles, "Can't Tell Me Nothing".[3][4] and "Flashing Lights".

Described as "a star in her own right" with a golden voice,[5] Mitchell also laid down tracks with Snoop Dogg during his extended stay in Sydney for the Good Vibrations Festival.[5]

With Sneaky Sound System, Connie Mitchell has supported Robbie Williams and Scissor Sisters, and played the Australian leg of the world-wide concert Live Earth in July 2007.[3]

Connie also performed with the band Machine Gun Fellatio, under the name Feyonce.

Connie attended Riverside Girls High School.
