The Connecticut Technical High School System is a state-operated Public High School System that offers a free vocational education to anyone in 9th-12th grade in the state of Connecticut who wants to receive a vocational education and who keeps their grades up and is accepted into the system. Unlike regular public school systems, they are not required to take anybody into their system so if their students do not make passing grades, do not receive a shop placement (due to their own negligence), commit a crime or are found guilty of gang affiliation, they can be kicked out, no questions asked. The Connecticut Technical High School System also offers adult education. The same rules also apply to adults who are enrolled.
