Concorde Stakes (Ireland)

The Concorde Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 7 furlongs and 100 yards (1,500 m) at Tipperary Racecourse in early October.
It was previously held at Phoenix Park over a distance of 1-mile (1.6 km) until the closure of the racecourse at the end of the 1990 season. Since arriving at Tipperary in 1991, it has remained every year with the exceptions of 1999 and 2000, when it was run at Cork. Prior to 1995 the race took place in June or July.
