Con. G. Cholakis

Con. G. Cholakis (b. October 6, 1930, Troy, NY, d. December 1, 1996, North Greenbush, NY) was a U. S. District Court Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. Judge Cholakis frecieved a B.A. from Siena College in 1955 and a J.D. from Albany Law School in 1958. Judge Cholakis was nominated to the court by Ronald Reagan on February 7, 1986, to a seat vacated by Roger J. Miner, confirmed by the Senate on March 14, 1986, and received a commission on March 17, 1986. Judge Cholakis assumed senior status on June 30, 1996. His service terminated on December 1, 1996, due to death.
