Regarding: "Why is it that the Japanese names are used for the titles of the character pages for the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, but for GX the US names are used? Shouldn't they be consistent?"
Technically, the names used for the original characters aren't the "Japanese" but the "English manga" characters. The VIZ comics published in the USA and Canada have separate conventions from the English anime, although the cards and a few of the characters (Pegasus, Croquet, Odion) have their English names in the comic. Also, characters who don't appear in the manga who appear in the English anime (Noah Kaiba, Dartz and his lackeys) have their dub names used. WhisperToMe 23:01, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
