Tikimana (full name: The Nebulous Front of Tikimana) is a state whose aims are to support the culture and well-being of the people (in form of equal distribution), whilst advocating the leftist-oriented dissolution of all the world's organized governments once world society finds balance. Its orientation is officially described by the state as being "Хюмана-комюня" (Humano-communist).

[edit] Geography
Tikimana is an extremely diverse country when it comes to elevation. The entire northern third is tattered with ridges and underlying karst systems. The eastern border's rolling volcanic hills have given the soil exceptional fertility. The geopolitical axis of the country is composed mostly of high plains and taiga, with the exception of a very abrupt gash from the coast dividing the north-eastern region in two.
The mammoth canyon was once a slightly elevated inland prehistoric sea, but it slowly drained when the two encompassing continental plates proceeded further south-west. The entire central region grew slightly higher as a result of colliding with the southern lands. The remnants of this continental drift can be observed with the small westward mountain ranges and enormous south-western slopes. At the coastal mouth of the great divide is a turbulent channel which allows vast inland mangroves to empty and fill with each change of tides.
[edit] International relations
Long regarded as an isolated nation, the recent trend of increased media contact has changed the views of most. Tikimanan citizens are often among the first to voice their embracement of new pleasing, useful, or logical international trends, which they then hold onto for an abnormally long period of time.
However, Tikimanans are still often among the first to voice an adamant refusal of ridiculous fads. Because of this refusal to embrace everything mainstream and because of the country's opposition to many things deemed unnecessary, Tikimana is often criticised by some distant nations for continuing to be isolationist. But most neighbouring countries have understood that Tikimana's notable lack of direct participation in recent wars has only been a sign of peace, not one of isolation.
[edit] History
In times long ago, Tikimana's populated lands were once under the control of a bordering empire which arose near Salvadonia. Relatively prosperous but based on human enslavement, the empire's stability was waning. It was around this time the idea of equality began to spread with the accompanying freedom of expression. Remaining pottery and other artifacts from this time period depict patterns of many humans standing abreast, sometimes with differently alternating heights and races (leading some to believe that ancient Tikimanan scientists were among the first to recognise multiple wave-pattern interferences, such as "every third Caucasian is shorter").
[edit] The Liberation
Because those who had been serving as slaves were owned by the oppressors, the ancient Tikimanans empathized with the plight of the slaves, having been living in moderate oppression themselves for well over a century. Upon the withdrawal of the oppressors' military, freedom was at once granted to the slaves by the populace. Due to the garnered distrust in authority, the sudden collapse of the empire left none with an immediate desire to step up as authority figures. It is rumoured that many who supported the former empire were slaughtered by freedom fanatics, a rumour which cannot be disproved since very few records were kept. Although some mass graves have been excavated from this time period, the remains show little or no signs of injury but instead evidence points to disease and famine.
Noting the poor examples of excess and indulgence on behalf of the ancient Salvadonians, Tikimanans had an example not to go by. This did well for the country's future economy which perpetually stresses moderation in practice.
[edit] The Great Peace through modern times
Following the new-found freedom, a popular citizen by the name of Tiki, who advocated equality in nearly all aspects, was voted by the largest committee of that time to lead the new nation. Immediate progress and reforms were made in education. In the coming centuries, new towns were formed in locations with emphasis on optimal protection from the elements. The first modern health research in the world was in fact performed during this age, with extensive medical studies carried out on ill tortoises and kiangs.
Turbulent surroundings prompted a defensive military to be rapidly formed, but Tikimana avoided becoming directly involved in international violence. Aggressive parties were actually brought into Tikimana in order to be shown the obstacles which would stand in the way of armies, such as the protected towns. Another effective strategy taken by government officials was to take neighbouring emissaries on tours of undesirable lands. The constant deterrents of difficulty and undesirability kept Tikimana safe even throughout the most violent period of the Dormosov Pact's history.
[edit] Population
The third most populous country in all of the region with over six hundred million citizens, Tikimana has placed a recent stress on international invitation. Tikimana is widely known for its high rates of immigration, partly aided by the widespread acceptance of its language. Minorities strangely compose 63% of the demographic. It could be said that there are more notable ethnicities in Tikimana than there are countries, but this may be an exaggeration.
[edit] Religion
Religion was one of the many unnecessary traditions which were shunned after the fall of the oppressors. As it stands, the government does not allow places whose sole purpose is to endorse cult gatherings. The most visible signs of religion in Tikimana are occasional clusters of philosophers sighted in the nation's many public parks and civic centres.
[edit] Economy
The most recent years have brought great strides in the economic system. While the first state-guided economic reforms concentrated on social equality (including exorbitant contributions to education, welfare, and healthcare), recent economic reforms have focused primarily on efficiency, stability, and growth. Citizens have the second highest income in the region with the lowest inflation rate in the region. Tikimana also has the most sizeable net budget within the Dormosov Pact.
Production balance within the country exceeds that of most nations. The most commonly harvested natural resources are mineral deposits, lumber, fresh and flowing waters, and winds. The nationalised industries strive to surpass all the needs of every resident when it comes to manufacture, and as a result Tikimana needs to imports nothing. If a product in the country doesn't read "Хечы Тикиманя" (Made from Tikimana), it's either very old, a foreign gift, or contraband. Very oddly, very old foreign gifts are also contraband, as only recently assembled gifts are allowed to be brought in.
[edit] Rewards of diminished profit
The taxes within her nebulous borders are astounding--by far the highest in the region. In order to call oneself a resident, one must sacrifice over three quarters of their personal income. In order to do business in Tikimana, industries must sacrifice more than four fifths of their profits to cover the state's expenditures.
The returns of the tax burden are plenty, however. Public education is extremely widespread. Universal healthcare is extended not only to full-time citizens but also to resident immigrants. Common utilities are seen as human rights and therefore provided by the state. Of global importance, the environment is nearly always given right of way in decision-making. Correspondingly, the Dormosov Pact's air is some of the least polluted on the planet. Nuclear tests are limited to one per year.
[edit] Foreign trade
The guided economy of Tikimana on the international scale is one of endorsement. The Most Favoured Nation status is bestowed upon trading partners which show great stability. Reasonable trading partners remain neutral. If a neighbouring economy shows great troubles, however, the state attempts to wean those in trouble off of her exports through an embargo. Any embargo will surely be revoked if the troubled economy ever manages to rise from the ashes and prove it does not need imported goods in order to survive.
