Talk:Company formation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am new to Wikipedia so I am not sure on the protocol for merging etc.
Company Formation is the term that is used for Incorporation in the UK, and most Commonwealth Countries. Incorporation is the term used in the US. The current Incorporation article is very US centric and does not get over the complexities of incorporation in the US since each state has different rules and procedures.
This article at present is a very short version, if I have more time it will need about 5-10 screens to explain the full process, and cover the history, paper incorporation in the uk, and electronic incorporation in the uk.
The current article would be fine as a sub section of a world wide incorporation article. However it needs expanding, at which point it probably should stand on its own, and be linked back from the Incorporation (business) article.

The article is now reaching a reasonable length.
I think it should stand alone from the Incorporation (business) page. RonaldDuncan 22:02, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
