Talk:Common wheat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Started page
Somehow the more minor wheat species were getting pages ahead of this. Have made a start; will return after doing some more work on the main wheat page. I can add more on evolution and early history. Any cereal scientists who can add more on food properties?
I'll also add a paragraph on transgenic wheat - an interesting story, with Monsanto withdrawing their products. Mark Nesbitt 13:19, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] it would be nice
I don't know enough to add to this, but it would be nice if "recent history" didn't imply that North America is the only place worth talking about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.9.158.196 (talk) 10:07, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Triticum spp, all ready has an extensive history on wheat, maybe merge that into here or revere to it...?? Scubafish (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 14:20, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
