[edit] Excessive focus on firsts

I feel this article puts too much attention on "firsts" and "earliests", and not enough on important contributions throughout the entire history of Commodore 64 demos. It is good to know when things started, but the start of something is not usually the most important aspect of it. --Vossanova ^o< 20:56, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree. This article is poorly written, cites no sources, and statements such as "the movement we now know as the demoscene was born" are in dire need of a NPOV.60.240.207.206 08:49, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
