Contents

[edit] Soul Glo

Who sung the Soul Glo theme? Since searching Soul Glo redirects to this movie, i think it should be important to mention who sung the song.

[edit] Rating

Yeah. Shouldn't the rating be denoted in the sidebar with all the other relevant data about the film? 68.53.168.153 12:51, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] SPOILERS!!

should there be a spoiler warning? -- Crnk Mnky 12:27, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Zamunda (merge)

Is the Zamunda article really worthy of a separate article? I suggest that it simply be merged into Coming to America. Guinness 19:27, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

It is fine to merge them, but the person who claims to have merged them has simply deleted the zamunda page, and not added any of the conten to the Coming to America page. The Kasparov of Sheshbesh 04:44, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Until that time that the pages are merged properly, rather than one simply deleted, i will consider restoring the zamunda page. The Kasparov of Sheshbesh 04:46, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Merging will be fine. Just cut&paste.Lajbi Holla @ me 23:23, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] QUOTES Survey

I pose to delete this section, as it already had a Wikiquote page.

  • Delete-Does this page really need a quotes section, when it already has a page on Wikiquotes? 23:48, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

addition

I at least tried to group them so it was not so scattered, but yeah, its beginning to look like the entire script of the movie, and several of those "quotes" are not even verbatim, but are paraphrases someone half-remembered and added. Quotes should probably be one or two (at the most) very, very memorable and well-known phrases, like "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" or "Play it Sam!" that a movie has given to popular culture, not merely amusing one-liners. Every decent comedy film has dozens, why quote them all? I agree with "dump ALL the quote". Some of these are not even decent quotes at all. "She's to be your queeeeen"? Please. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:ComingtoAmericaPoster.jpg

Image:ComingtoAmericaPoster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:03, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
