How to add an image from a comic book, comic strip or editorial cartoon

If you want to add an image from a comic book, either the cover or an interior panel, or a panel from a comic strip or an editorial cartoon to an article that shows this image, do not modify this page or image. The correct procedure is:

1. go to Special:Upload to upload the image
2. go back to the article page, click edit, and change the following:
{{Infobox
...
| image =
into:
{{Infobox
...
| image = Name of image you have uploaded

Add the line "image = " if not present already.

Do not include the "Image:" part in the name of the image.

Why you don't want to change this image

The image described in this page is used to indicate that no image has been placed in a particular comics-related page. As a result, it must not be changed with a specific comics related image. Follow the above instructions for inserting a new comics related image.
