Compromised is a hip-hop production duo consisting of Ali Haeri and Stephen Ip based out of Los Angeles, California. The collective burst on the internet scene in October of 2005 with the well-received Chrono Trigger Mixtape Vol. 1, a semi-parody collection that juxtaposes the symphonic score of the video game Chrono Trigger with popular hip hop songs. After the success of the mixtape, Compromised delved into the world of radio, producing a nationally-syndicated FM radio show with Spinderella (former DJ of pioneering female rap duo Salt-N-Pepa) titled The Backspin for a year, until deciding to focus all efforts on producing music.
Since then, Haeri and Ip have produced mixtapes featured on MTV.com and XXL, and produced the lead single from Sphere of Influence's alike-titled album, Diamond in the Rough.
