Compreignac (Occitan: Comprenhac) is a French commune located in the Haute-Vienne department in the Limousin region of central-central France.

The commune covers 4,762 hectares. Compreignac is located 20 km to the north of the city of Limoges, approximately 10 minute travel along the Autoroute A20.

At the 1999 census, the population was 1,435. On 1 January 2007, the estimate was 1,648, spread between the country and approximately 40 villages.
Inhabitants are known as Compreignacois.
