Compass Film Academy is a non-profit Christian film school in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

In 2003, the school sent interns to the set of Bobby Jones, Stroke of Genius, directed by Rowdy Herrington.
In 2004, the school sent interns to the set of The Visitation, a film based on the book by Frank Peretti.
In 2005, the school sent interns to the set of The Ultimate Gift, a film based on the book by Jim Stovall.
In 2006, Compass Film Academy launched a One Year Film Program for people who want an intensive film education.
In 2007, 24 students will be selected to participate in this program for the school year 2008-2009.
[edit] 24-Hour Film Festival
The Compass Film Academy Alumni Board hosts the annual 24 Hour Film Festival. The public is invited to participate in this event along with students and alumni of the school. The ten best films are selected for live judging on the evening of the screenings. The top prize is $1000.
