Companiganj (Bengali: কোম্পানীগঞ্জ) is an Upazila of Sylhet District in the Division of Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Companiganj is located at 25.0791° N 91.7542° E . It has 13620 units of house hold and total area 278.55 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Companiganj has a population of 85169. Males constitute are 51.86% of the population, and females 48.14%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 39684. Companiganj has an average literacy rate of 12.3% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
