CommodoreWorld is an online multimedia service provided by the Commodore International Corporation, the company which acquired the Commodore brand name in 2005. CommodoreWorld streaming service unites content from TV, internet and radio and makes it directly accessible on a series of portable and fixed devices such as the Gravel In Pocket media player and the Gravel In Home media center.

The owners of a Commodore Gravel device can stream free content from CommodoreWorld. This content includes internet videos, music tracks, videos, replay TV, video on demand and radio. The CommodoreWorld streaming service comes automatically available when registering the Gravel device on the website.

[edit] Virtual Locker

The CommodoreWorld website is also announcing a ‘Virtual Locker’. The Virtual Locker is an on-line storage of personal media. The service offers access to photos and home videos via Wi-Fi enabled Gravel devices, without actually saving them to the device. On CeBIT 2007, Commodore announced Gravel Personal. This Wi-Fi player has a video/photo camera. Footage from the road can directly be uploaded to CommodoreWorld and accessed (private or public) by other Gravel users.
