Commander safeguard is the first Pakistani "3D Animated Series". It is sponsored by Procter & Gamble Pakistan, for one of its brand "Safeguard (soap)" soap. Beyond selling a product, the show's mission is to promote health and hygiene among children.
Till now, 7 episodes of 15 to 20 minutes have been aired on almost all pakistani TV channels. Its one of the most popular local TV shows for children in Pakistan.
Later in 2007, it was adopted in Mexico as CAPITAN ESCUDO. The response was over whelming, beating sponge bob cartoon in popularity ratings.
