Comic literature

Comic literature is a genre of prose fiction designed to amuse the audience. Comic literature is an umbrella term, and occasionally branches into may other genres, such as fantasy and science fiction (e.g. Terry Pratchett). Meanwhile other famous writers, such as Kurt Vonnegut and Ben Elton, have been renowned for their mix of dark comedy and satire.
