Cleaned up typo errors and Wikified some tenant names. There is a lot of work to do for this center. akronpow 18:19, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Added lots of new information on competing centers, ownership history, and tenants akronpow 19:46, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Good work, maybe I can stop by and take a picture some Saturday afternoon to show how dead it is in there. Sad really, I remember when it was the place to be. --Analogue Kid 19:55, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

That would be awesome, I recently moved to Virginia so I can't get any pics of it. This page definitely needs a good dead-picture! akronpow 19:13, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] website down

as of today (12 August 07) the website, www.shopcitycenter.com is down and redirects to the generic Simon "find-a-mall" screen, which city center has been removed from. Does anyone know if TL-Columbus (Simon + GM pension) have left the mall, or whether the property has been turned over to the city yet? also, since the website is no longer up, i'm looking to see if i can find an archived version of the page to add here. heresthecasey | talk 13:25, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Interesting find. Can't say I know what's going on at this point, but I'm wondering if they might actually just wash their hands of the whole business and just hand over the keys anyway. With the confusion that the lawsuit has created, people have become confused about whether the mall is still open (it was last week) but this will just serve to make it worse. It's a weird arrangement because the city owns the land under the mall, but not the mall itself. Thus I don't know if it will show up in public records when they actually do take over. Hopefully the Dispatch will have something on it soon.--Analogue Kid 16:38, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
also, when i was at the mall last week, it seemed to me that up on the 3rd floor it was really, really, hot. so i cant help but wonder if they didnt turn off the a/c down there. idk if this is really notable, but it just seemed odd to me cause normally i always think its cold in there. heresthecasey | talk 13:56, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
