[edit] Karma Chameleon
Somebody wrote that "Karma Chameleon sold over 1 million copies in the UK, becoming the highest selling and last platinum single of the 1980s (Human League's "Don't You Want Me" and Dexys Midnight Runners' "Come on Eileen" were the other two)". This is utter nonsense. It is true that Karma Chameleon did sell over 1 million copies, but it was not the highest selling single of the 1980s nor was it the last platinum single of that decade. Band Aid, Stevie Wonder, Wham, and two singles by Frankie Goes To Hollywood all sold more copies than Karma Chameleon and came out after it. There were also several other singles that sold over a million in the UK in the 80s (Jennifer Rush, New Order, Soft Cell, George Michael and Band Aid II).
