Recent edit on variation on crowns reads: "The crown varies based on the sex of the current monarch; for example Queen's crown and King's crown." Not sure about this. As far as I am aware the same crown was used for Queen Victoria and Edward VII before the three subsequent kings used the Imperial Crown of India. The crown used for the present Queen is St Edward's Crown originally made for Charles II. I have therefore changed it but any corrections with references welcome Dainamo 13:34, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
