[edit] meanings of colloquium

I wouldn't have written this article on my own devices; I did it because what was here before clearly needed to be moved (it's now at Colloquium (College of Engineering, Guindy) ), and I couldn't leave the redirect. So I wrote a brief paragraph about colloquia in my experience. Some of the links to this page suggest that others have different understandings of what a colloquium is (for example, one suggests that it's a type of course for credit). So maybe someone would like to expand the article and give sources and so on. --Trovatore 21:04, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

As I happened to be studying torts in my first year of law school and needed some clarity on the definition, once I found it I added it. --Spetsnaz13 22:51, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
