My edit summary was:

Removed possible poisoning the well. If it's not notable enough to mention in his main article, it shouldn't be here. Not sure how it helped the paragraph either, especially in terms of clarity.

I might be willing to see this snippet readded if:

1. It is added to the main article about this man, and it is put in context.
2. It is relevant to the reader's understanding of the subsequent sentences. To achieve this second point, I think the wording would need to be improved.

[edit] Link to Daniel Sanchez Wrong

This links to a soccer player on the Uruguay national football team, not a judge in New Mexico. The bio for the judge is linked to the page and it makes no meantion of a ten year career playing professional soccer. I don't have the expertise to fix it, but I thought I would at least point out the problem
