Merging player biographies, stats etc. into the article on their specific sport seems to be inconsistent with the current methodology of providing the information on separate pages for each sports person. This seems to make sense in order to avoid the main page of each sport becoming too highly cluttered with details.

So I therefore suggest the stub be left to be expanded upon alongside the others in the same category.
