Columbia Independent is a college preparatory school that emphasizes academics, integrity, and leadership. Current enrollment is about one hundred students in the upper school and just over that in the lower school.

[edit] The Upper and Lower School
The Upper School is for 6th-12th grade. The Lower School is for K-5th grade. They are located on the Stephens College Campus

The Upper School is separated into prides; each pride does one community service project every semester. The prides are usually divided according to grade. Each pride has a teacher who is the "pride leader".
