The Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) is a consortium of libraries in 44 states and the District of Columbia working together to develop summer reading programs.
[edit] History
The Collaborative Summer Library Program began in 1987 with 10 Minnasota regional libraries. Combined resources and collaboration with a commercial vendor allowed the libraries to provide cheaper, higher-quality resources to promote children and teen reading during the summer.
