Colin Kenna (born July 28, 1976 in Dublin) is an Irish boxer, former holder of the British (South area) heavyweight title belt. Kenna is a native of Dublin, Ireland and currently resides in Southampton, England.
Kenna's record includes a points win against Julius Francis, a first-round stoppage loss to Michael Sprott and a loss to Mark Krence after Kenna retired during the fight due to injury.
Kenna was out-pointed by Russian-born Israeli Roman Greenberg (27-0) over eight rounds in London in October 2007. He was in trouble in the sixth round, and on the floor in seventh from a straight right hand.[1] The only time Greenberg was in "any trouble was when his stool collapsed under his sixteen and a half stone frame at the end of fifth round."[2]
Colin is the brother of professional footballer Jeff Kenna.
