Colin Johnson (cricketer)

Colin Johnson is a first class cricketer who played 100 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1969 and 1979.
He scored 2962 runs as a right handed middle order batsman at 21.44 with two centuries against Somerset CCC and Gloucestershire CCC. In 102 List A one day games he scored 1615 at 20.18 with a top scored of 73*. He took 4 first class wickets with his occasional off breaks and 2 more in one day cricket.
He was a stalwart for Yorkshire's second XI, playing from 1966 to 1985 and captaining the side after he left the first class scene.
He was born on September 5, 1947 in Pocklington, Yorkshire.
