From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Colin Hurt (December 16, 1893December 31, 1972) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler who played for Derbyshire in 1914. He was born in Darley Dale.

Hurt played three first-class matches for Derbyshire during July 1914, and, in his second match, against Lancashire, was one of the three batsmen taken in a hat-trick scored by John Bullough.

However, with Hurt, a lower-order batsman, scoring at an average of just four in his one and only season, he was not to play first-class cricket again.
