Colin Galbraith (born 30 September 1973, in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, UK) is a Scottish author and poet. He has published one novel and several chapbooks of poetry, as well as acting as assistant editor for The Scruffy Dog Review and chief editor for The Ranfurly Review.

Colin Galbraith has a First Level Award in Creative Writing from the Open College of the Arts (OCA) and a Bachelors degree in Information Technology from the University of Paisley. He has worked as a gardner, supermarket shelf stacker, video assistant, I.T. consultant, and as a website designer.

He attended Bridge of Weir Primary School and Gryffe High School in Houston, Renfrewshire. After graduating from University he worked in Glasgow for a couple of years before moving to Edinburgh, where he begen developing his writing alongside a desk job for an insurance company.

He was brough up in Bridge of Weir, and has lived in Paisley, Thornliebank, and Shawlands (both Glasgow). He now lives in Edinburgh with his wife and daughter.
