[edit] This is what Im talking about concerning pointless pages.
Okay, the country in Canada was a bit extreme, but this is clearly a violation of template: insignificant pages or whatever you call it.MikeyOHoolihan 02:02, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Restricter plate vs CoT
The last sentence of the intro paragraph, talks about changing to a CoT. But it doesn't explain what a CoT is, and neither to do I. Either a wikilink or some sort of explaination is needed. --Pilotboi 03:48, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Is this the official name?
I have not seen any site officially call it the Coca-Cola 400 yet and I have not seen that picture on NASCAR.com, Daytona's site or any other site. It just says a Coke brand (not necessarily Coke) will be the sponsor. I've even heard of it being the (Coke brand) Firecracker 400 again. CrazyC83 02:03, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Improper move
This page was improperly moved (via a copy-paste rather than a history-preserving move) from Pepsi 400. A request has been filed at WP:SPLICE to merge the two histories, which is required by the GFDL. --Kinu t/c 21:44, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Paul Revere/Brumos Porsche 250 Split Discussions
I am proposing that the section "Paul Revere 250" and its Winners sub section should be mereged into its own article called Brumos Porsche 250 and have Paul Revere 250 redirect to Brumos Porsche 250. The 3 main reasons why I request this is becasue:
- It does not really have anything to do with NASCAR even though its on the same weekend of the Pepsi (or whatever the new name will be) 400
- Becasue the other support race the Busch Series Winn-Dixie 250 has its own article anyway as we don't put both on the same page . By keeping Paul Revere 250 on the Pepsi 400 article it is creating a double standard.
- To keep the size of the Pepsi 400 article down and keep it within the 32 KB limit.
That is my reasons for the split proposial. I would like to hear comments below about this. Sawblade05 (talk to me | my wiki life) 08:21, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have no problem creating a new article for the Paul Revere 250. It started just as a sidenote section, but quickly grew out of hand when I unearthed a lot more information that I thought I'd ever find. I second the notion. Doctorindy (talk) 14:32, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have to say good job on that hopfully soon we can get it on its own article. That red link on the track page for Daytona been bugging me quite a bit and I have been wondering about this race also. Sawblade05 (talk to me | my wiki life) 15:27, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
