[edit] History
The resort officially opened in 1986. It is the first golf course in the world to feature a movable floating green (the 14th) that is usually adrift somewhere in the lake. It was built by Duane Hagadone and Jerry Jaeger. The resort buildings were designed by architect, R.G. Nelson. The resort has won many awards, most being from men's magazines. [1] It also claims to house the world's longest floating boardwalk.
