Code War is the solely released song from The Hagar/Hart Project, a collaboration between Sammy Hagar and Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart. The song was released as a digital download on mp3.com in December 1999 as a response to the prevailing apocalyptic attitudes preceding the end of the millennium. The lyrics invite the listener to "Party all the way to Y2K".
