The Coalition Chronicle is a monthly, military magazine of stories and news briefs about military members in Iraq. It is produced by the Multi-National Corps-Iraq (or MNC-I) Public Affairs Office in Camp Victory, Iraq and has a distribution of over 10,000 copies around the Iraqi theater of operations for Coalition service members. It was the first-ever theater-wide magazine published that covered each country in the Coalition serving in Iraq.

The magazine runs stories and photos highlighting the missions and actions of servicemembers deployed to Iraq. Included in the magazine every month is a photo section, called "Freedom's Focal Point" which highlights the best photos taken by military photographers throughout Iraq, and \"Requiem for the Fallen", which lists the names of Coalition servicemembers who have lost their lives in Iraq.

[edit] History

In early 2006, elements of the U.S. Army's V Corps arrived in Camp Victory, Iraq to replace the XXVIII Airborne Corps as MNC-I.

The V Corps elements, also known as Task Force Victory, soon realized that a need existed to inform, not only U.S. servicemembers but all military members in Iraq about actions and events ongoing throughout the country.

The Coalition Chronicle was created by elements of the V Corps Public Affairs Office, the 49th Public Affairs Detachment (Airborne) and an augmentee from the Defense Information School, Fort Meade, Maryland who made up the MNC-I Public Affairs Production Cell at the time.
